Can't get magisk working for the life of me
I'm sure I'm missing a step or doing something incorrectly. Steps I'm doing.
Unlocked the phone and flashed the stock image to it.
The phone loads up normally. I skip all of the account creation stuff and download and install the Magisk apk.
Once in I take the boot.img file from the original image folder that I unzipped and use magisk on that. Everything is fine.
I go back into fastboot and try to flash the magic_patched{numbers}.img onto the phone.
This is where I'm pretty sure I'm screwing something up. At this point the phone is stuck in a boot loop. I'm able to reflash the original image back onto the phone to repeat these steps but this keeps happening. Am I choosing the right file to upload into magisk? Is there some step that I'm missing after I get that file back?
