Anonymous user
I’d like to better understand how the anonymous-user feature works. When I create an anonymous user, will that user be lost after the session expires?
For example, in a mobile app: if I create an anonymous user and they don’t come online for a month, will their user ID still persist, or will I have to create a new anonymous user the next time they open the app?
I couldn't find this explained clearly in the documentation. My goal is to have one stable user ID that lasts for the entire lifecycle of the app, which can later be linked to Google, Facebook, etc., when the user chooses — while still allowing them to remain anonymous indefinitely until they decide to link an identity.
