Custom SMTP not working

I've added my custom SMTP server and I'm very sure that the provided details are correct. I don't see any login attempt to send a mail on my mail server side just a 504 gateway timeout when trying to sign up when the custom SMTP server is enabled. How to debug?

Is supabase using TLS, SSL, Automatic for connection?
