Query Performance Advisor: no queries detected

The advisor used to show data and today it's not showing anything. I see "314 slow queries" in the top left but after loading and waiting, I get "No queries detected".

Examining the networks tab it looks like the query timed out: "Failed to run sql query: Query read timeout" HTTP 408.

I tried doing a soft and hard restart of the DB, but no luck.

I also recently upgraded the DB from 15->17 a week ago.

Probably need to contact support or generate an issue in supabase/supabase github.
Not seen this before, no other reports and mine is working.

This looks less like “no queries” and more like the advisor’s own aggregation query timing out (HTTP 408), especially since you still see hundreds of slow queries.

We’ve seen this pattern when pg_stat_statements grows large or after major upgrades — the observability UI can time out before returning results.

Tools that run lighter, incremental analysis directly on Postgres (instead of heavy dashboard queries) don’t usually hit this problem.

"pgpulse" helps me in solving and get query insights even when the platform’s own advisor can’t load.
