Construction Preferences 1.7.1 is Crashing On Launch

Was playing last night and all was fine. Installed latest update1.7.1 to Construction Preferences today, and I'm getting a crash before ever reaching the main menu that shows Construction Preferences in some of log entries.

I backed off to 1.7.0 and the game runs fine once again.
