No files/data after restarting

Hello, I used WSL and docker desktop yesterday to install immich on windows. I uploaded a lot of pictures, everything worked good, today i restarted the docker container and when opening the webpage I was asked to setup the admin password and the basic config of immich like it was a fresh install. after doing that it showed an empty instance. but it still displays 57GiB used in the bottom left corner. also the file system shows 59GB of data in the library folder.
After uploading a photo to that "new" instance, it created a second folder in library/upload, with another hash. so maybe I cant see my previous photos because the new admin account I created had another hash. but the files are still there, just cant see them in the app.
The list of users only contains my new account.
Do you know what happened and how to solve it ?
