Really weird issue with one of my nice!nanos

When I plug in the nice!nano (just the bare board, no keyboard), the orange light it briefly flashes, then I get nothing else. When attached to my keyboard, I see the same behavior when flicking the power switch. Here's the weird part: when it's not attached to the keyboard, I can get the nice!nano to turn on by touching the reset pin. When I say "touch", I don't mean jumping the pin to ground: I mean literally just touching the singular pin with my finger. It turns on and starts working. When attached to the keyboard, I can sometimes replicate the touching behavior, but I can always fix the issue with a reset.
I've already re-flashed the bootloader. I'm using the typeractive machine sockets and headers. What is going on, and can I fix the nice!nano?
