Purchased a server license thinking I bought an actual hosted service.

It's clear that I misunderstood the purpose of purchase server. I bought with the intent of buying the hosting service which my family could back up their pictures on.
Would it be possible to get a refund on the purchase since we are not technical enough to install it ourselves and have no use of the server license.
