`baseURL` not working

I am setting

baseURL

baseURL

in my

betterAuth

betterAuth

configuration, but for some reason, when I am compiling my application in Capacitor, it keeps trying to make the requests to

https://localhost

https://localhost

instead. What the heck???

export const auth = betterAuth({
  baseURL: "https://example.com",
  ...
});

export const auth = betterAuth({
  baseURL: "https://example.com",
  ...
});

When I then do

signin.social()

signin.social()

, it makes a request to

https://localhost/api/auth/get-session

https://localhost/api/auth/get-session

... So frustrating!
