"Do Not Disturb" (DND) does not work for the Ente app

The "Do Not Disturb" mode is active on my phone (Honor PGT-N19).
In the app settings, notifications are allowed for both "notification types" ("On this day" and "ente").
However, for both types, the settings specify that notifications are not allowed when DND is active ("Allow interruptions" is not enabled).
But it doesn't work. The app still alerts me with a preset sound when it has a message for me, even though DND is activated. The Ente app is the first and only app so far (and I have quite a few
) where DND doesn't work.
