Prerender routes + SPA no SSR

Is is possible to use tanstack start for prerendering specific pages like root '/', '/about', etc. and the rest of any other routes go to spa mode with no ssr stuff? Or should I just not be using tanstack start for this? I can't seem to get it to work.
