Factory Skyline - Saving Designs

I couldnt find much of any documentation for this mod so I had to figure out a lot of tbe functions myself, but something that really annoys me is that the designs you make dont save when you reload the game, which doesnt feel intentional because it has a whole folder system. It saves the names of my designs but not the selection or anchor.
Anyone more familiar with the mod that can help?
