external libraries - what to change the path name to

Hello, we are trying to change the path name for an external library on immich and it constantly says it is invalid.
We have mounted immich in docker and already put photos on out TNAS. We want to now connect immich to that location on the TNAS. Does the IP address need to be included in the path?
We would like someone from customer support to help us with this issue we are having. Thank you.
