Increased Latency in Content Download Part of requests causing app slowness

realtimeTL;DR; Users been facing slowness issues for the past few days, on further inspection it seems like content download is taking much longer than its supposed to.
On 9th January we recieved our first report from a client in Dubai facing this issue, we assumed that the problem is related to their network. after further investigation, we realized thst content download is taking much longer than expected. we checked repsonse times on database, request number, error rates etc. there was no spike worth mentioning. we also tried deploying a replica in India (closest possible to client region) and the init kept failing.
