Troubleshoot: WhatsApp gateway not receiving messages from Whatsapp Group
Summary
* Clawdbot responds normally in the Drafts WhatsApp group, but does not respond at all in WK PY (same trigger phrase) whatsapp group, suggesting the gateway is not ingesting messages for that group.
Goal
* Have Clawdbot receive and respond to messages in WK PY the same way it does in Drafts.
Current behavior
* Sending
you there donna in Drafts triggers a Clawdbot response.* Sending the same in WK PY produces no response.
* Internal comparison indicates:
* Drafts has an active session/workspace with many files.
* WK PY has no session created / 0 files, implying no inbound events were processed for that group.
Expected behavior
* When I message
you there donna (or any configured trigger) in WK PY, Clawdbot should ingest the message and respond.What I tried
1. Sent the same trigger phrase in both groups to compare behavior.
2. Compared session/workspace state between the two groups (Drafts has session artifacts; WK PY does not).
3. Searched logs for the WK PY group JID string; only found references that appear to be my own messages about the group, not inbound group messages.
* No explicit error stacktrace observed; the key symptom is absence of inbound events for WK PY.
