Question about `RpcServer.layerProtocolHttp` and Span Propagation Support

I wonder why the

RpcServer.layerProtocolHttp

RpcServer.layerProtocolHttp

which uses

makeProtocolWithHttpApp

makeProtocolWithHttpApp

does not set

supportsSpanPropagation

supportsSpanPropagation

to true. As far as I understand span propagation controls wether a parent span in

makeNoSerialization

makeNoSerialization

is set or not. Couldn't this work for http via trace headers?
