Can't get Discord to see and respond to non @ replies in server
Same issue - it's still timing out after 30 seconds. Your channel messages ARE being received, but they take 36+ seconds to process and Discord cuts them off at 30 seconds.
The core problem: Every Discord channel message triggers a full agent run that's just too slow for Discord's 30-second timeout. This appears to be a Clawdbot architecture limitation.
What works:
Discord DMs (instant, no timeouts)
Telegram (channels and DMs both work)
Discord server channels (too slow, 30s timeout)
My honest recommendation:
Stick with Telegram for now for channel conversations. It's more reliable for this use case. Discord DMs still work perfectly if you want that as a backup channel.
The Discord channel issue seems to be a fundamental limitation in how Clawdbot processes server messages vs DMs. Unless there's a hidden config to increase Discord's message processing timeout (which I haven't found in the docs), channels just won't work reliably.
Want me to disable Discord channels and keep just DMs enabled, or disable Discord entirely and stick with Telegram?
