Setting up browser automation on a headless Hetzner VPS (Debian). ClawdBot is Node.js-based and already uses Playwright ^1.57.0 per source inspection.## Goal

- VPS: Hetzner CPX12, 1 vCPU, 2GB RAM, 40GB disk
- OS: Debian
- ClawdBot version: 2026.1.16-2
- Runtime: Node.js
- Browser lib: Playwright ^1.57.0 (confirmed from clawdbot source)
## What I understand so far
Per earlier advice, Option A (Playwright + bundled Chromium) is recommended:

Questions for Support
1. Does ClawdBot auto-install Chromium via Playwright, or do I need to run npx playwright install --with-deps chromium manually on the VPS?
2. For headless VPS โ is Xvfb needed, or does Playwright's headless mode work out of the box?
3. Any ClawdBot-specific browser config needed in clawdbot.json? (e.g., browser profile settings, args like --no-sandbox)
4. Should I use clawdbot browser serve mode, or can agents call browser commands directly on the same machine?
