Swapping Profiles w/ Multi Action

Let's say I'm on Profile 1 and I press a button with Multi Action mapped to it. The Multi Action button contains a Switch Profile (to Profile 2) and a Run Command action. When I press the button, the command is executed and my Stream Deck swaps to Profile 2 as expected, but then whatever button replaces the Multi Action button executes as well.
I've been trying to figure out a workaround for this, but I haven't found anything that works super well. The closest I got was mapping the Multi Action button to a button that was not mapped in Profile 2, however, once the Stream Deck swaps to Profile 2, the icon for the Multi Action button is still there! This has been very confusing, so any enlightenment would be greatly appreciated
