Would a mod for cheating in items disable achievements?

I would like to make a new save at some point and I would be fine redoing everything, except for the search for sloops/mercers/drives/slugs. I would like to be able to just give myself a decent amount of those to minimize how much time I have to spend searching for them but I don't want to cheat any further than that.
So is there a mod where I could give myself certain items and then switch mods off and play the world with achievements on as a technically "legitimate" save?
I know this question may seem odd that I would want to cheat but still have the world remain legitimate; but I still want to the world to feel mostly legitimate so if achievements were to be off, then there's nothing to stop me from just cheating further yk

Mods do NOT disable achievements - you can play with mods and still get them!
Do note that using Advanced Game Settings does disable achievements.
