How to handle wildcard trusted origins?

I have an electron app and a backend using better-auth. I can't set the trusted origins, because the frontend origin is not static. If I set it as "*", then I can't ask for credentials. How would one go about doing this?
I know the better-auth team (cudos to you) is working on electron support, but I would still like to know how these situations should be handled.
