In the Shopify plugin settings of a Gadget environment, it is possible to connect multiple Shopify apps.
I assume this feature is intended for us with Shopify apps that are distributed through an install link and that can be installed only once per store or Shopify Plus organization.
This would allow to install the same Gadget app through link distribution in multiple stores / Shopify Plus organizations.
Are there any other use-cases for this that I missed?
Was it intended for something else?
Would it be possible to use it to create white label apps, that could be submitted to the app store and distributed as public apps?
I don't think anybody is doing it right now and it doesn't make sense for most apps, but we might have a use-case for this.
During app creating it is necessary to answer, if the app is a "custom app" or a "public app".
Does the selection change the behavior of and options available in the app?
Is it influencing this specific feature?
Does this feature help distinguish data from different apps in the models with an extra column?
Or is that something we would need to build ourselves?
