Gateway broke after sudden restart on macos

I am running clawdbot on a macbook and it decided to do a system update. Gateway seems to have been broken after relaunch. Ive tried pretty much all the troubleshooting faqs with reconfiguring, restarting gateway and running the doctor. Its not coming back up. Any ideas how I can bring it back up? Or should I try to reinstall from scracth? (Can I keep my config/settings on a reinstall?
