Global photo comments instead of album-specific comments

Right now, comments in Immich are album-specific, not photo-specific.
If the same photo exists in multiple albums, a comment written in Album A does not show up in Album B. You have to repeat the same comment again and again.
This feels counterintuitive because it’s the same asset. Comments should belong to the photo globally, independent of albums.
For shared albums and collaboration this is pretty limiting and creates unnecessary extra work.
Global photo-level comments would be a big usability improvement and honestly a game changer.
Are there any plans to change this?
