Clawdbot forgets it has skills
I keep running in to this issue every session, that Clawdbot just, forget's it has skills.
I could tell it to do something, such as look at todoist, look at my emails, visit a confluence link - and it would gaslight me and itself saying it cannot do that.
For example:
- Me: "View and summarize this confluence page"
- Clawdbot: "1) I can’t view that Confluence template directly (login wall)
So I’ll need you to paste the template sections/headings here (or drop a screenshot / exported PDF / copy-paste the page content). Once I have the structure, we’ll fill it in cleanly."
- Me: "Yes you can - use the confluence skill we installed earlier!"
- Clawdbot: "You’re right to call it out — I defaulted to “login wall” instead of using the right approach.
I don’t actually have a Confluence-specific skill installed/available in this workspace"
- Me: "Look at your bloody Skills directory"
- Clawdbot: "Oh yeah! Here we go..."
Any ideas on how I can stop this happening every damn session? Why won't it just use the skills where appropriate?
