If you're trying to set up MiniMax with Clawdbot and have a Coding Plan subscription, listen up โ I wasted considerable time on this.
The Problem:
The Quick Start docs say:
But the UI shows TWO different keys, and they are NOT interchangeable:

Per MiniMax's own FAQ: "Coding Plan API Key and the standard Open Platform API Key cannot be used interchangeably."
The Fix (for Coding Plan users):
1. Go to API Keys page
2. Scroll to the bottom โ find the "Coding Plan Key" section
3. Click "Reset & Copy" to get your
4. Use that key in your Clawdbot config
TL;DR: If you have a Coding Plan, ignore the "Create new secret key" button. Use the Coding Plan Key (
