The Problem: I have a multi-agent setup in one channel. One of the sessions (Claude Opus 4.5) grew to 166k tokens (83% context). This triggered an Anthropic rate limit and put my provider into a permanent 'cooldown' state.
The Blockers:
Telegram/Discord: I cannot use the /compact command in the chat because the bot immediately fails with a rate_limit error before it can process the command.
Terminal/CLI: I’ve tried several CLI commands to compact or reset the session manually, but I keep getting unknown command or unknown method errors (Version 2026.1.24-3).
Internal State: Even after a gateway restart and a doctor --fix (which refreshed my credentials), the specific session agent:main:discord:channel:...788 remains at 166k tokens in the status overview.
Session Details:
Current Context: 166k/200k
Question: What is the exact, correct CLI syntax for this version to force-reset or compact a specific session by its ID or Key from the terminal? Or is there a way to safely manually edit the sessions.json without breaking the database?
