Failing to set up Tailscale serve

Hello,
I've been trying for quite a while and nothing helps...

When I run

clawdbot gateway --tailscale serve

clawdbot gateway --tailscale serve

it says in the log I get that it went fine and gives me a link, but then, when I try to open it in the browser nothing happens. Even on same machine, with tailscale logged in both in the app and in the terminal cli.

No matter what I do I always see this when I open the tailnet link I get:

This site can’t be reached ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

This site can’t be reached ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

(standard chrome page for broken link).

When I run

tailscale serve status

tailscale serve status

I just get

No serve config

No serve config

. I tried also starting serve using the tailscale cli directly with

tailscale serve --bg --yes 18789

tailscale serve --bg --yes 18789

and again, I get the success info, but when I try to open the page - nothing happens.

I have MagicDNS and HTTPS enabled in tailscale + I used

sudo tailscale cert <tailnet_domain>

sudo tailscale cert <tailnet_domain>

to generate the certs on my clawdbot macbook.

I'm lost. I want to have clawdbot/openclaw running on one mac mut then use it on my main mac, not just over telegram. Any ideas on what else I could do to troubleshoot?
