memory embeddings with ollama - determine config path based on version.

i'm running version 2026.1.24-3 and using the previous sample shown here in the help i was unable to get this to work. what config path do i need to use with my version?

Solution

      memorySearch: {
        provider: "openai",
        model: "nomic-embed-text",  // or your Ollama embedding model
        fallback: "none",
        remote: {
          baseUrl: "http://localhost:11434/v1",
          apiKey: "ollama-local"  // any non-empty string works
        }
      }
    }
  }
}

      memorySearch: {
        provider: "openai",
        model: "nomic-embed-text",  // or your Ollama embedding model
        fallback: "none",
        remote: {
          baseUrl: "http://localhost:11434/v1",
          apiKey: "ollama-local"  // any non-empty string works

And make sure to remove any

auth.profiles.openai:default

auth.profiles.openai:default

that might be lurking in the config.
