Client side env vars not working in production
I'm running a docker build and trying to host a simple app on render.com
All the server side env vars I set up within their UI are working fine, can connect to the correct database, amqp, etc
However, the public/client ones are not.
I am reading them like this:
I also changed the envPrefix in my vite config to this:
Works great in the local dev environment, but when I deploy to the server it does not ever pick up what I configure into the environment on the client side, and always reverts to the default value ('baz' in this case).
How do I solve this? Do I actually need to include those variables at build time in my dockerfile?
