Feedback & Bug Report: Cron and Telegram Notification Issue in OpenClaw

I hope you are doing well.
First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for creating OpenClaw. I have been using it as my primary personal assistant for a while nowβhandling everything from note-taking and task reminders to fetching news. It has become an incredibly useful tool in my daily workflow.
However, I am currently facing a persistent issue regarding the Cron functionality and Telegram notifications:
The Issue: I cannot successfully set up task reminders. Even when a reminder appears to be set, it fails to send a notification to my Telegram when the time comes.
Errors encountered: Often, OpenClaw reports a "Gateway Timeout" error, suggesting it fails to communicate with the gateway when processing reminder tasks.
My Environment:
I am running OpenClaw on a Debian Virtual Machine (VM).
I am using Telegram as the primary interface.
Troubleshooting done: I have tried deleting and reinstalling the entire VM multiple times to ensure a clean slate, but the Cron issue persists every single time.
I really love this project and want to rely on it for my daily tasks. Could you please look into this or suggest a way to fix the communication between the assistant and the gateway/cron service?
