OpenClaw not performing tasks
What I'm trying to do: get openclaw to build a basic webapp I can run locally to view status, kanban for jobs etc.
What happened instead: After saying it would progress the task it just sat there for 2 hours doing nothing, when I chased up what it was doing it then started work on it. But this happens several times and I still need to give it a nudge to do anything. Its like its just lazy
and doesn't want to do any work until I check up on it.
What I ran: Just a prompt to say can you build me a little local website that we can use to collbaorate in a kanban style interface.
My Environment: Mac Book Mini M4, Open AI Codex, one line script for install, updated to 2026.1.30 but still seeing the same issues.
Relevant logs: none, everything appears to be running fine, its just lazy
Just wondering if anyone is seeing this, I'm probably going to delete everything and start again with minimal info given about how it should work as I'm wondering my initial prompts about how it should work etc have maybe caused it to second guess itself and wait until I give it a nudge.
