Delete multiple photos from device from archived view

In a previous version I could select multiple photos from the Archived view and then select remove from device. This is on iOS. Now this only works per single photo. I normally select photos on a desktop and put them archived view to delete on the iPhone.
I see that the button remove from device is stiill working in the normal view or in a album. Is it missing now in the archived view?
