Windows - Web UI Skills Installer - Brew Not Installed
What's happening:
On native Windows (not WSL), the Web UI Skills panel shows "brew not installed" and marks many skills as "blocked". Homebrew is a macOS/Linux tool and doesn't exist on Windows.
What works:
clawhub install <skill-name> from CLI installs skills perfectly on the same system.
Environment:
OpenClaw: 2026.2.2-3
OS: Windows 11 (native, not WSL)
Node.js: v24.13.0
npm: In PATH and working
The problem:
The Web UI Skills panel appears to be checking for brew as a dependency manager regardless of platform. On Windows it should be checking for npm/winget/chocolatey instead.
Since clawhub install works fine from CLI, this seems to be a platform detection issue specific to the Web UI code path.
Workaround:
Use CLI: clawhub install <skill-name>
I've also added a comment to GitHub issue #4557 about this.
