@Abi That error is coming from sharp falling back to a source build, and in sharp

0.34.x

0.34.x

the source-build path now expects

node-gyp

node-gyp

to be resolvable as a dependency (so it blows up with “Please add node-gyp to your dependencies”).

Fix (macOS)

1) Make sure you have build tools:

xcode-select --install

xcode-select --install

2) Install

node-gyp

node-gyp

globally using the same Node/npm that OpenClaw is using (your log shows Node 22.22.0 via Herd/nvm):

node -v
npm -v
npm i -g node-gyp

node -v
npm -v
npm i -g node-gyp

3) Retry:
