Issue: Discord bot outputs raw tool call JSON instead of natural responses
Setup:
- OpenClaw 2026.2.3-1 on macOS 15.6
- Ollama with qwen2.5-coder:7b (local LLM)
- Discord channel enabled and connected
Problem:
When I ask questions in Discord, the bot responds with raw JSON tool calls instead of the actual message:

What I tried:
- Different models (qwen2.5-coder:14b, qwen2.5-coder:7b, gemma3:12b)
- Custom system prompts telling the model not to output JSON
- Creating custom Ollama modelfiles with strict instructions
The agent itself works fine (logs show proper execution), but Discord channel seems to pass through raw tool call results instead of formatting them as natural text.
Is this a known issue? Any config option to fix Discord response formatting?
