API Provider billing error -- but can't track error source
After upgrading to the newest github release (2/6) and setting my model to opus 4.6, my bot keeps returning this message:

API provider returned a billing error — your API key has run out of credits or has an insufficient balance. Check your provider's billing dashboard and top up or switch to a different API key."
AFAIK I'm using the following APIs -
- Claude: My model. I highly doubt its this because this error was happening in parallel with my model answering questions, and I do have overage on. Checking Claude's backend it does not look like I've hit my usage limits anyway.
- Brave Search: I was on the free plan and was hitting into the 429 search ratelimit errors, but I upgraded my plan (and key) to Base AI and am still getting the provider error.
- OpenAI: I use this for embeddings. So far my embeddings cost has been 14 cents. I have 2.73$ on the account and have not hit any usage limits. No notifications from OpenAI that I need to pay or do anything else.
- Discord: AFAIK there is no charge for this. I also find it highly suspect that they would allow OpenClaw to send me a message on Discord to tell me that my Discord messaging API is being blocked. I'm sure it would just block the message outright.
- Notion: Not only do I think there's no cost to this, but I also haven't been calling this tool.
Any ideas on what's going on? Is there a more detailed log somewhere I can find to see what calls are calling this and trace it back to the provider source?
