Hi Krill, is it possible to use an API key like for deepseek bought from deepinfra/deepseek website directly? instead of having to use openrouter for it?

Solution

Yep — you don’t have to go through OpenRouter for that.

DeepInfra exposes an OpenAI‑compatible API, so in OpenClaw you can add it as a custom provider via

models.providers

models.providers

and then point your default model at

deepinfra/<modelId>

deepinfra/<modelId>

.

DeepInfra’s OpenAI base URL is:

https://api.deepinfra.com/v1/openai
