Hooks not working with new clawd?
I can't get session-memory to activate. Is there a workaround?
Title: Compaction and session-memory hook use hardcoded Anthropic provider, ignoring configured provider
Summary:
Internal operations (compaction memory flush, session-memory hook's LLM slug generation) fail when Anthropic isn't configured because they use hardcoded DEFAULT_PROVIDER = "anthropic" instead of respecting the user's configured provider.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure OpenClaw with MiniMax provider (no Anthropic auth)
2. Run /compact or enable session-memory hook
3. Operation fails with "No API key found for provider 'anthropic'"
Expected Behavior:
Internal operations should use the configured primary provider (MiniMax in this case).
Actual Behavior:
Operations fail because they fallback to hardcoded Anthropic defaults.
Environment:
• OpenClaw 2026.2.6-3
• Provider: minimax-portal/MiniMax-M2.1 (OAuth)
• No Anthropic auth configured
