Question about Telegram and usage of Group and Topics/Channels

I saw this vid on youtube where someone showed me the idea of creating a group, and topics in thag group and assign the openclaw bot to each. And tell it in each topic to respond to each of my messages and not only when tagged. And this would help with keeping things on topic, without switching back and forth and it remains the context of that topic. Is this true? Is this technically how it really works or is it just a coincidence?
