Voice-call Plugin - "Application Error" / "Invalid Token" using Tailscale Funnel on AWS
I’m looking for some help with the voice-call plugin. The call rings, but I’m hitting a wall with the media stream.
Issue:
The call connects, but as soon as I answer or a few seconds later, Twilio says "An application error has occurred" and hangs up. It seems like the WebSocket for audio is being rejected.
Setup:
- Environment: AWS EC2 (Ubuntu
- Tunnel: Tailscale Funnel (Port 3334
- Model: Gemini 2.5 Flash
- TTS: OpenAI gpt-4omini
- Gateway Logs:
What I've already tried:
1. Wiped main.sqlite, sessions/, and state/ folders for a clean start.
2. Set skipSignatureVerification: true in the config.
3. Updated publicUrl to be the root domain (without /voice/webhook).
4. Verified the Twilio Console Webhook matches the Tailscale URL.
5. Set maxConcurrentCalls: 5 to avoid busy flags.
