Browser Relay handshake failing in Docker (invalid request frame / chrome-extension origin)
Hi everyone 
, I’m running into an issue with Browser Relay in OpenClaw (Docker) and could use some guidance.
I’m consistently seeing this in the gateway logs when clicking the browser extension:
invalid handshake conn=<id> remote=172.19.0.1
origin=chrome-extension://ggelegohbnnkblhehacgpkgficpgmgki
host=127.0.0.1:18789
Context
OpenClaw running via Docker
Gateway exposed at 127.0.0.1:18789
auth.mode=token, token generated and correctly pasted into the extension / Control UI
Browser extension reloaded and reinstalled
Extension points to the correct gateway endpoint
Extension icon stays in ... and never attaches to tabs
Things I’ve already tried
Reset / reconnect the browser extension
Restart the gateway and Docker containers
Re-validate published ports and local connectivity
Generate a fresh dashboard URL + token and re-pair devices
I also tried installing the extension from inside the container:

Error: Bundled Chrome extension is missing. Reinstall OpenClaw and try again.
