Issues with OpenRouter free models: 404 No endpoints found matching your data policy
For context, here are my models and agent configs so you can check i have the right ids ( i took them from the terminal with openclaw models list --all --provider openrouter): "model": {"primary": "openrouter/openai/gpt-oss-120b:free","fallbacks": ["openrouter/z-ai/glm-4.5-air:free", "openrouter/qwen/qwen3-4b:free","openrouter/qwen/qwen3-coder:free","openrouter/arcee-ai/trinity-mini:free" ] }.
My version is 2026.2.9. Setup: OpenClaw + OpenRouter (Paid account, $10 balance, all Privacy settings/Free publication ENABLED)
The Conflict: On OpenRouter Side, logs show Status 200 for gpt-oss-120b:free on the prompts made exactly at the same timestamp as I sent the message ( also there were the only ones). Prompt is ~5.4k tokens. Latency is high (~30s-50s).
On OpenClaw side, it fails almost instantly (<3s) with: 404 No endpoints found matching your data policy.
Even with high latency on the first model, OpenClaw seems to skip to fallbacks immediately, and the fallbacks trigger the 404 policy error. Already tried new API keys and rm -rf state.
I am sure it did not happen at a different time, i checked timestamps, and no other calls were made, only 2 calls were made which both returned code 200. No other models were called i can confirm that on the openrouter logs, also, i only have 1 api key set up in the entire config. I am sure its using the right api key bc its explicitly inside the openclaw .json file, to test for now. HELP PLS, GOING CRAZY
