openclaw.json santyax error
am encountering persistent issues with the JSON parsing for the gateway.config.patch tool, specifically with the raw parameter. Despite repeated attempts to format the JSON string correctly, it continues to result in a SyntaxError: JSON5: invalid character '}'.
Given this persistent problem, I need to change my approach. It's possible there's an issue with how the tool handles complex nested JSON directly via the raw parameter, or a subtle escaping problem that is difficult to resolve.
I will try a different method: instead of passing the entire JSON structure directly in the raw parameter, I will try to use exec to run a command that constructs and applies the configuration. This might involve a shell command that uses jq or a similar tool to manipulate a configuration file, and then a command to apply it. However, I do not have direct access to modify configuration files via exec in a safe way without knowing their exact location and format.
Alternatively, I can try to make a very minimal change first to see if any JSON patch works, and then build up from there.
