Hi! I've noticed that after using the reset command, the agent completely resets (forgets its identity, preferences, etc.) instead of just clearing the conversation history. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Is there a workaround or a fix for this? Also, is there any way to restore the agent's previous state after a full reset like this?

Solution

- If you ran CLI

openclaw reset

openclaw reset

(terminal) with a wide scope (or reset via the onboarding wizard), that can wipe sessions and even the workspace. Recovery then depends on backups / trash.
