I try to install OpenClaw locally on Windows using 'curl -fsSL https://openclaw.ai/install.cmd -o install.cmd && install.cmd && del install.cmd', and the Installation Wizard

Yep — TheDoctor’s summary is basically the key point: native Windows is currently a rough path. OpenClaw is recommended on Windows via WSL2 (Ubuntu), because lots of skills expect Linux/macOS-style tooling (and Homebrew is macOS/Linux-only). Docs: https://docs.openclaw.ai/platforms/windows

- The “brew missing” error is coming from the optional “install skill dependencies” step in the wizard. It’s not that OpenClaw requires brew; it’s that some skills try to auto-install extras (macOS does that via brew).
