How to run long tasks without the bot stopping?
Hello! I'm trying to do something that goes against the training of a chat bot: keep going until a task is fully completed.
When I write to the bot (discord integration), it starts working on the task, but sooner or later it stops without saying anything. Looking at the logs, nothing is out of order. It just says that the main lane ended. Prompting differently ("be autonomous", "keep going until completion", "don't stop to ask me questions") doesn't work at all to fix this.
Did anyone successfully managed to use openclaw in such a way where you can just give it a mildly complex task and have the model keep going for more than 5 minutes? Like, if the model failed after an hour of trying things out, sure. But failing silently after 5 minutes by just... not replying anything to me is confusing.
