Running 26.2.13 ATM, if I upgrade I get a flurry of these errors. I'm using the flash/pro Gemini twins.
The bot dummarises reality as
1. OpenClaw 2.13: Forces everything through openai-completions. We are stuck with the "bridge" method here.
2. OpenClaw 2.14+: Introduces the bug where it sends extra fields (thinking, beta, etc.) that the Google OpenAI-compatible endpoint rejects (Status 400).
Any suggestions anyone?

Gemini 3 Preview + OpenClaw v2.15 a Fix that worked for me 
If you're hitting 400 Bad Request or 404 Not Found with Gemini 3 (Flash/Pro Preview), OpenClaw with my config was double-prefixing the model ID and hitting the wrong API path.
The Fix:
1. Endpoint: In openclaw.json, base Url for the Google provider: https://generativelanguage.googleapis.com/v1beta
2. Model IDs: Strip the google/ prefix inside the providers block.

3. Routing: Keep the google/ prefix in your agents and models allowlist so the gateway knows which provider to use.
4. Restart
