✅ Avalonia vs Uno

I'm driving into my first cross platform GUI app and as my use case primarily concerns GNU Linux, it seems none of Microsoft's offerings are up to the task so it comes down to third party frameworks. I came across Avalonia and Uno and seeing as they both have tags on here, they're both quite respected.
I looked at both and I'm pretty conflicted based on my experience. I mostly just used WinForms before and Avalonia seems similar backend wise but I'm also not too experienced with web and never touched WebAssembly.
Anyone really experimented with both can give some insight?
