Navigating to a prebuilt URL

I have a URL that is already prebuilt from the backend. That means that instead of info like:

<Link to="persons/$personId" params={{ personId: 'abcdef' }}>Click me</Link>

I have:

const data = { linkTo: 'persons/abcdef' } // many possible routes, just an example

<Link to={data.linkTo}>Click me</Link>

const data = { linkTo: 'persons/abcdef' } // many possible routes, just an example

<Link to={data.linkTo}>Click me</Link>

The issue seems to be that linking this way fails to load

personId

personId

as parameter, which causes a runtime error.

Meanwhile, using

<a>

<a>

causes a reload of the page which is not ideal.

Can I somehow navigate while using a fully prebuilt link?
